I tried for Penhaligon today but it was out of stock, so I asked Alexa what samples she had and she said she had Hugo Boss and would I like that? I said YES!

Just signed up for this, took a bit of faffing to get the Alexa app working on my Fire tablet. Registering with Shareasample, adding the skill & linking accounts went fine - just Alexa kept ignoring me (turned out the app needed updating *and* you have to enable it in settings). Felt like a right idot talking to a computer with nothing happening.

Initially alexa thought I wanted an app called Sendameal (something like that) then finally after I tried saying Alexa Send Me A Sample very slowly and clearly, followed by 'Alexa Send Me A Sample skill' I got a message saying they currently have no available samples but are working hard to get more & to watch out for their logo on adverts.

eta: shame about the lack of free samples but Alexa is now singing me a song about cats
