Hi new to the forum, received a ticket from cpm about failure to pay for duration of stay in a hospital car park on 22/07/2018. i basically paid for a ticket for the amount of time required and after getting seen in A&E was told will be another 10 mins and we can go so as i knew ticket was running out i waited by the vehicle as thought there was no point of getting another ticket as we were soon to leave so if a warden came around i would be with the vehicle, not realising the anpr would be able to ticket me. we left soon after. on receiving the initial ticket which was issued on the 03/08/2018 but did not receive untill at least a week later,i appealed via the online system without doing any research(feel very silly now) and finding this site, i did not receive a reply from my appeal but have just received a FORMAL DEMAND. have i already messed up by appealing not using the templates on here, is there anything i can do now, or should i pay the fine which has increased to £100 before it goes up again.
sorry for the long winded post but wanted to try to give as much info as possible. any advice greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.

IGNORE them for 6 years unless you get a formal LBC or an MCOL in the post
complain STRONGLY to PALS and get it cancelled
remind PALS and the trust of their obligations published a few years ago

its not a "fine" , its an INVOICE, if you are going to call it anything at all, call it a PCN, which is what it is (not something that it isnt)0 -
should i pay the fine which has increased to £100 before it goes up again
They will pretend it does, and add on £60 for nothing in various letters later on, but the PCN is £100. Even if it proceeds to a court claim it's still (really) £100 'PCN' and take comfort from knowing that we win 99% of cases defended with forum help here.
Complain to the Hospital, to PALS and get it cancelled that way quickly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is not a fine, it is an invoice for alleged damages for an alleged breach of contract. It is a scam.
Read this and complain to your MP.
