CPU fan replacement

A friend (who lives far away) has asked me to replace his CPU fan when I next visit as it's making horrible noises and the PC shuts down intermittently (due to overheating, I presume).
He has an HP Prodesk 400 G1 MT machine with an i3-4130 CPU. I understand the CPU uses the FCLGA1150 socket architecture. It's used as a basic web-surfing machine.
I've had a google, but I'm not quite sure what replacement part I should get. I couldn't see a stock fan (or HSF combo) in the search results.
Would I need a complete HSF (heatsink/fan combo) and some thermal paste, or could I just replace the fan? Any suggestions for a simple fix?
Cheers all

Look on ebay plenty fans. It could be the PSU on its way out? I had to change one in my old HP as would not switch on when cold.

It's going to be tricky because they're pretty much all custom-made, so you won't be able to use a generic heatsink.
Fans are normally just fans, but you need to check the exact size as well as the connector type (some have 3 pins, other 4).
Also, as Hasbeen suggested, it could actually be the PSU making the noise.
That being said, noisy fans don't normally cause issues as long as they are still spinning. If the computer overheats and shuts down, you will also need to check the heatsink and how tight it sits on top of the CPU. A loose heatsink can make the CPU overheat in seconds.0 -

He's opened the case and put his ear to it to confirm, so I'm fairly sure it's the PSU fan.
Thanks, but that one is used and from the USA. I've looked for new ones from the UK but can't seem to find one. :-/
From the photo, it looks like a fairly standard fan. Could I just get a standard case fan of the same size...?0 -

I'd just do the fan (but I'm lazy); looks like a standard 60mm fan - it's the connector which is important - see the manual. If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0

If it wasn't a long way away I'd be even lazier, blow off the dust, flip up the silver label in the centre of the fan and give it a quirt of silicon oil.
If replacing the fan make sure you get the right Tach/PWM connections or you'll have the thing bleeping to say the fans failed.0
