Drpl parking fine

Hi all
Sorry for a new forum but each person's circumstances seem to be different.
I received a text message from drpl a few days back I gave them a call on the number provided and they advised of a parking charge in November 2017 in a Sainsbury's car park.
They said I owed £130 or could do a payment plan but as I have a job the lowest they could do is £30odd a month. As a single person living on my own this is out of my budget. They also advised ifu didn't pay the cliament would take me to court and get a ccj against me and I would have to pay the court fees.
Could anyone advise on where to go from here? The last thing I want is to be hit with a large fine Inc court fees and/or appearance.
Should I pay dprl, call the car parking company direct or ignore?
Thinking back the reason I believe I may have over stayed the time limit was at the time a friend of mine was suffering with severe depression and was on about taking their own life and hurting themself. A walk was taken to try and bring this friend back to a safe place and get to the doctor's which was in the area.
Any advise would be much appreciated. I am losing sleep over this.

IGNORE drpl, they are powerless , and never phone these people up !!
see post #4 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread for clarity
the PPC is responsible for this, nor drpl
ideally, COMPLAIN to Sainsburys and get it cancelled , go to their CEO if you have to do so , ideally with proof of patronage
DRPL cannot, repeat CANNOT take anyone to court , they work on a no collect , no fee basis and they lie and cheat people , dont believe a word they say0 -
1. Don't lose sleep over it
2. Read the NEWBIE sticky to see what to do next
3. Did you receive a PCN wither n the car or through the post?
4. DRPL are debt collectors and cannot take you to court, only the parking company can do that.
5. It's the small claims court and entirely different to an appearance in a court. When you are reading the NEWBIE sticky, in post #2 there is a walk-through of what to do if/when you receive court papers and also a link to a video showing you what happens at small claims court.0 -

PS, you don't owe them £130 because they have added
a fake fee.
SERIOUSLY ---- IGNORE THIS SEWER LIFE0 -
No new threads about DRP please - just read the 4th post of the NEWBIES FAQS sticky.

Hi all
Thanks so much for your quick response.
I don't get how they got my mobile number either
I will contact the CEO of Sainsbury's and explain the situation to him. Hopefully he'll have some compassion.
Thanks again all0 -
It's not about compassion, it's about the Equality Act - the law. Disability discrimination by their parking agents.
Don't write a weak 'appeal' email, write an angry but polite one setting out the law and your 'disgusted' feelings about this harassment for daring to be a shopper at Sainsburys.
