Hi all
I have an online training company. Currently, we take payments via bank transfer rather than PayPal (which would be a likely option I think) however we also have downloadable courses and the time spent waiting as a client is too long.
Think of making a request, waiting until the admin is online to respond with bank details, bank transfer and then receiving the course. Could even take 4 days if it covered a weekend so we would like to automate this like a shopping basket or similar. Don't know where to begin to source the best one. Can anyone share their experience?
Thank youuuuuuuuu :T

there are a large number of companies who provide "Payment Gateways" for websites which enable you to offer a pay before "checkout" function.
there are 2 issues:
a) such companies typically charge monthly fees, will your turnover be high enough to absorb that
b) you may need to pay someone to do the IT work to implement such a gateway
We use one of the big players in the market and pay £25 per month + VAT for ours.0 -

then just add paypal to your website. Their transaction fees are higher but if your volume is low the economics should be simple to establish. Thanks for responding. That amount of money just isn't worth it for us. Sounds like "payment gateways" needs to be my search term.
Then get someone to tie it in with the download function so they payment has been made before the download is made available.0
