I don't know, but what I do know for sure is that you can have both at the same time (and you get both signup bonuses)

Not sure how soon you should apply though, I'd held White for a year or more before I applied for Black (same for my OH), but if you apply for another days or weeks after being accepted for one, it might not go down as well. Worth a try though, worst they can do is say no, then you just try again in six months.
