Can you guys recommentd good PPI claim companies which work hard and do not charge an arm and a leg?
(yes, I know I can do this on my own for free but I'd rather pay someone else to do this job for a cut in what is recovered)

We can but we won't. No-one on the forums recommends paying silly money to a CMC just for putting a stamp on an envelope and sending it to the same address you would use if you sent the same form yourself.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). All right... the thing is I already tried this on my own and all I got is a bunch of canned letters saying I do not have any PPI. And I suspect I may still do. If it is on no-win-no-fee basis why can't I send professionals there, maybe they will do the job a bit better than I did.
So, back to the question, any recommendations please?0 -

It's the same jo, just more expensive.0 -
Not once you already know you don't have PPI. They charge heavily for timewasting.
You were wise to avoid them. At least now you're not on a suckers list, looking forward to a lifetime of spam calls.0 -

The consequences are far too high for them to lie.0

You have been told you didn't have it.
Do you have proof you did?
A claims firm will just do the same thing you did, they don't have any other ways of getting the information. There are no professional firms, they use the same process as you do. They only make money because gullible people don't understand they don't have any special powers
Send a subject access request to the firms if you don't believe them.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

And if the CMC sends a letter to those same companies, it will get the same response. Or potentially worse for you, the lender will say in the response that they refer you to the outcome of your earlier complaint that you dont have PPI. The CMC can then charge you for timewasting.why can't I send professionals there,OK, should I trust a mortgage lender is they say there is not any PPI?
Are you paying (or did you if historic) a direct debit to an insurance company for PPI? Banks only ever retailed MPPI as a monthly premium payment. Never have they done single premium or hidden it. It is one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints fail.
Did you even buy the mortgage from the bank? (most mortgages in the UK are done via mortgage brokers/estate agents/advisers). Lenders wouldnt know what insurance you have if you used one of them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
