Kitchen face lift

Hi,
I'm looking to spruce up my kitchen. New worktops and appliances, sink, taps, floor, tiles. I'm willing to do what I can myself, but don't want to get measurements wrong, and want to get a custom made worktop, so need some professional help. Does anyone have any recommendations for a supplier? I've not spoken to anyone yet, but was thinking of making the rounds at B&Q, IKEA etc soon.
Ideally, I'd like to pay for it all at once (including any trade work) and put it on finance over a couple of years, but this isn't essential (just got a new 0% spending card for 28 months).
I'm pretty happy with the cupboards and the doors, but not sure if I need to do the whole lot to qualify for the finance options.
If you've had any experience in a similar situation I'd love to hear your views.
