    APG's were not removed because of womblers it was done to increase Asda profits, which is fair enough as they are a business.

    Quite right.

    Just like when a certain someone promoted on TV about the supermarkets accepting coupons even if you did not buy the item.

    People then started using them to pay for all their shopping and so it was stopped spoiling it for those who used it to get a couple of pounds of their weekly shop.

    And more recently when Boots gave out 250 advantage points free over a weekend if you went in with a House of Fraser card some were abusing it by going into as many branches as possible and getting 250 points each time prompting Boots to remove the offer from their facebook page.

    I'm not a womble but I used to get generally get a few pounds back from the weekly shop with this.

    I'm not a brand loyal person, but I think this did help ASDA keep me as a customer.

    I'll shop around now.

    Also I wont have to play the "Is that a 5 or 6" game each week.
