Pure Planet increasing rate!

I literally just switched to Pure Planet from NPower in the last couple of weeks after they came up as the cheapest on the MSE Cheap Energy Club comparison. 10 minutes ago I got an email from them saying their "members rate" is going up from 1 October and now my annual projected energy cost will be £70 higher.

I can't recall exactly, but switching to them only saved me a little bit less than that anyway.

Is anyone else affected by this? Do you think I should look to switch again?

Moving to a variable tariff at a time when all the suppliers were increasing prices was a questionable decision. Yes, move to a fix now although you have missed the boat for the best deals, my gas supplier is about 15% dearer than when I switched to them in May on a 2 year deal.
