Vinyl Stains?

Can anyone suggest anything to remove yellow stains from kitchen vinyl, only had it six months but yellow curry type stains are in certain areas.
I have scrubbed with floor wipes, white vinegar and Cif but nothing has worked so far.:(

  • Use Milton.
Its used to sterilise babies bottles, it works a treat on stubborn kitchen top stains.
Apply neat, leave for a few mins then wipe off with kitchen towl.

  • If I have curry stains on tablecoths etc I get the sunshine onto them and the stains disappear - can you get any extra UVA/b rays on there??

I ignore curry stains on my worktop as they disappear on their own. Poltergeist cleaner?

I'd try lemon juice, possibly a paper towel over it so i could add more juice and to stop evaporation?

Barkeeper's Friend hasn't yet failed me with turmeric stains, on all kitchen surfaces (yes, my husband is that messy!).

Do you wear rubber shoes/rubber soled slippers in the kitchen - or have anything on the floor regularly with rubber feet - washing basket etc?

If you do then the stains will be permanent. Rubber discolours vinyl flooring and there's nothing that will fix it.

My doormat ruined my last vinyl floor in my kitchen and the step stool with rubber feet for the grandkids in the bathroom has done the same there.
