Bank of Cyprus does this though quite regularly, they tend to offer a market leading rate and then withdraw it two days later.
Yep, when they were offering 1.41% to new customers, the account did indeed appear on MSE's "Top Savings Accounts" page.0 -
MSE is not a comparison site and doesn't always show the best deals instantly, or at all. I reckon they'll catch up on BOC offerings but the account discussed here isn't available any longer for new customers so there's little point in MSE listing it.Any reason why BOC not recommended.0 -

Correct, I did, to advise another poster of a different option who was enquiring about the availability of the 1.56%. That doesn't mean the thread is about that different option, does it.
As you know there is a separate thread on the 1.36% account.0
