Replacing boiler timer

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
We don't have a thermostat at the moment becuase the boiler and timer are in an unsuitable position to have a thermostat so I would like to install a timer with a wireless thermostat. I wondered if it would be easy to install a new one?

All the ones I can find are wired differently to our current timer. I've taken a photo of the wiring on our current timer, but I'm not allowed to post pictures.

    On my old boiler I used a Nest with the thermostat located in the hall. The boiler was set to be always on and the thermostat was in total control.

    My new boiler already that option built in and so the Nest was removed.

    We have a Hive, it's nowhere near the boiler, it's on the wall in the hallway, but you can take it off the wall and put it wherever you like.

    We had ours fitted by BG when our old timer gave up the ghost but you can buy them for DIY fitting.
