Where to dispose very old mobile phones .

We have 3 old mobile phones found recently ie Sony S700i etc. None of them are of any value as per selling mobile sites. I don’t want to throw them in with household waste and wondered if there was anywhere we could send them to to be disposed of safely please? Thanks.

Did you specifically say it was for recycling - not for resale ?
Seems strange given that Oxfam actively advertise their scheme

Freecycle is always a good place to give things away. Also you can give things free on Preloved and Gumtree.

Yes I am very familiar of giving items to those mentioned and charity shops but these aren’t worth anything! They need careful disposal of although some parts can be taken out and reused. Thank you anyway.

I haven't had a new mobile since Februay 2007. When the battery or the charger dies I go to Ebay and buy a secondhand one, carefully asking the seller about the battery, charger etc. Sell on Ebay, you will help someone like me! Have done this several times with complete success and have converted my OH to this too.
