Excel parking issue PCN even though paid

hello again, I have been trying to ignore BW legal. All the texts, phone calls, emails and post you'd think I was very popular.
Today I received a Letter of claim to 'commence legal action in the form of issuing a Claim against you in the County Court in respect of the debt.'
I have until the 21st feb to pay up or respond.
Should I respond?
The contravention they state is still "Parked without displaying a ticket" even though I paid via parking app. Surely that makes the whole thing void?
They want me to tell them why I dispute the debt, should I? Will they listen?
Any opinions, thoughts and help appreciated, Thank you

Yes, as the NEWBIES thread post #2 clearly sets out.

Not void, but that's your defence. and you should state this to BW Legal to dispute the contravention.

Yes.

Will they listen?

No.

But see the NEWBIES thread and get a SAR from the parking firm including the data from the app used.

Thankyou and apologies for covering old ground, its hard to wade through sometimes.

So the deadline was 22nd feb, they sent through SAR info 9pm on the 21st whilst I was away and unable to respond. I fear I am now headed to court. The SAR contained the info I have been trying to tell them, the fact I had paid etc.
Just so confused now
