Hello,
I was wondering if anyone is aware of being able to receive. Money transfer before receiving the physical credit card?
I included the money transfer request in my credit card application and I was hoping to receive this in 2-3 days, however I am aware the card would take longer to arrive.
Many thanks for any help

as far as i am aware, your card needs to be activated first before you can do any transactions, including a money transfer, even if it was requested on application. but, i am happy to be proved wrong if not the case0

You are correct - well with Tesco anyway but am sure they will all follow the same procedure.0 -
I imagine most, if not all CC companies would do this for security. The card would need to be activated, which usually requires access to the security number printed on the physical card - meaning it cannot be used for any transactions or money transfers until it arrives.0

Just bear in mind that cash transfer rates are higher with MBNA than most other cards offering money transfers.0

Thanks for your replies. Just an update - as long as you include the money transfer request as part of the credit card application, the money is transferred within 1-3 business days, so no need to wait for the physical credit card!0

NBNA money transfer is 0% for me. Or 0.5% if you don't have an offer but think about it.0
