UK Mail dodgy email for due delivery?

I got an email today from 'UK Mail' talking about a delivery for me, giving a consignment number and an order reference.



Thing is i don't remember ordering anything that hasn't already been delivered.



I do however have a dash cam out for repair with the manufacturer but i didn't expect it back yet, plus they haven't got in touch with me for any update to say it was fixed or anything like that. They said they'd repair it in about 10 working days ... it's been 6, including the day they received it.


I enter the consignment number and the name is not my name but is however a name i use when i want to remain anonymous for registrations i don't care too much about.


The date however on this failed delivery attempt is down as 1st June 2020. :eek:


Not sure if this is all bogus or what. Seems very strange. Is this a known scam?

Does it state your actual name at the header or 'Dear customer' or 'Dear Email address'?

Does it have a linked for you to logh into a page? Hovver your mouse over it and should tell you the actual web address but dont click on it.


If it also has a consignment number then go to UK Mails actual web address and enter it then you will know if it is real or not.
