Anyone receive a Royal Mail sign for letter yesterday?

Hello!

I received a red "while you were out" card yesterday morning - I wasn't expecting anything for delievery.

I pootled down to the collection office today to be told they couldn't give it to me as my ID didnt match. Turns out this letter is for an "Alice xxxxxx" at my address. There's obviously been some kind of mix up.

I've tried to rearrange delivery online but of course the postie hasn't written the item reference number correctly so "items not found" on Royal Mails track and trace service...

Did anyone receive a sign-for letter/win yesterday? Any advice on how I can go about getting this letter?

So select a different product with no item no.
Im at a loss as to why you didnt just ask for it to be redelivered at the office?

I did but was told to do it online - and online I could not proceed without an item number.
