hi, travelling to france for a few days by car, been looking for breakdown cover and cannot decide.
any recommendations or what to avoid would be welcome.
have found co-op (axa) to be a reasonable quote, as its quite cheaper than the main ones. aa, greenflag etc
if you have had this though co-op (axa) would you recommend it

Have you tried ADAC, the german auto club. English website, UK and Europe cover. Apparently very good, and not so expensive. Worth a look.0

We have only used the main ones, but always use quidco to bring the price down.0

Check what they cover. Some will give you a courtesy car for your holiday if youre breakdown within the week before you go. Do they all bring your car back to the UK if it can't easily be repaired? I don't know how else they might differ but for cost of a few pounds a more expensive policy could save you more of anything happens.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

If travelling via the tunnel, Eurotunnel have some competitive offerings...

The ferry companies may also do similar.0
