TSB boss to step down following IT failures - MSE News

Ty very much Willing2Learn. I would consider Tesco, but my nearest store is a 40 mile round trip: I shop at Morrison's. I live in a rural Lincolnshire area and all we have in the way of financial outlets, is a PO van twice a week. No PO, one Volunteer shop. Louth is only 3 miles away and has these main banks:
TSB (ours) HSBC, Lloyd's, Barclays, Natwest, Santander, Halifax, Nottingham Building Society.
Since my original post, I have learned that my 22 yo granddaughter has made an amazing career change from being a chef, to starting a course of training with HSBC in another area. She is looking into helping us with advice and expects to be fully employed soon.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Have you considered First Direct? Always comes top of the customer service surveys on MSE and you can do virtually everything with them by telephone/online.
They are also part of HSBC so you can use your local HSBC branch if wanted, and like most big banks also support transactions at Post Offices if the PO van does that (https://www.postoffice.co.uk/branch-banking-services)0
