PPI Claim company recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good PPI claim company. I went through the Resolver in MSE and Nationwide agreed that they had missold PPI to me. But then the FSO agreed that they did not have to pay me. I have had lots of accounts with many financial institutions over the years and want a company that can check everything for me, without having to give them reams of information, and don't mind paying a small fee.

No. There are no good PPI companies.
A PPI company will ask you to tell them who you had PPI with, so that they can send the forms off. So you might as well send the forms off yourself and save half of any redress.
There are also no small fees. Just large ones.0 -
You give them all the information anyway
They have no magic wand to find out anything you cannot find out yourself for the price of a stamp
Expect to pay a reclaim company at least 20-35 %Ex forum ambassador

thanks for the info everyone, but if I just want a legit company, please advise the best way to find one?
I don't mind paying around 25% plus VAT. I've tried doing it myself through the "Resolver Plevin" tool via MSE, but have reached a dead end, and so this will be my last shot!0 -

You are asking what the shiniest turd is.I don't mind paying around 25% plus VAT. I've tried doing it myself through the "Resolver Plevin" tool via MSE, but have reached a dead end, and so this will be my last shot!
What do you mean by dead end?
Claims companies have a lower success rate than personal complaints. You only get one attempt to complain. If you had done that via resolver and have been rejected then a CMC is no good for you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Just to reiterate, claims companies are not specialists not do they have access to special or backdoor processes, they have made a fortune from fooling people they know are gullible (after all, they were fooled into taking out PPI) into believing they can do things you cannot. In reality, the claims firms use the same form as you, they use the same process as you, they do not have any more chance of winning a complaint than you.
You complained, you were rejected, if you referred the matter to the FOS and they rejected you as well then your complaint is over. If you did not refer to the FOS and are over 6 months then your complaint is also over.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
