Now you have a final diagnosis Snoozer hopefully the right treatment can start soon.
Hope theTa’s are ok.
Enjoy your day Nelski

Morning everyone,
I have been absent lately, so I hope everyone is well.
It started with a holiday up North and then I suffered some severe back pain last week which left me off work for a while. Back today, so a lot to catch up on. It seems the cause of the lower left back pain was due to me fixing an existing problem with my hip flexors. Anyway, I'm on the mend now. My goodness those Diazapam are crazy!
So, much the usual workday for me. No gym this morning and no football tonight mind you. Something eggy for dinner as I've eggs to use up.
Right, sorry, lot's catching up to do. Hope everyone has a lovely week.0 -
Good morning chums and a beautiful sunny day here in the Garden of England.
I have the day off as the boys have gone on a road trip with their sister's husband Tom to Alton Towers so will be gone until late tonight.
I managed to get all of my holiday washing done and ironed yesterday so today I am catching up on odd jobs.
I have to nip into my local cobblers shop this morning to get the strap on our picnic bag stitched on his industrial machine It broke while we were on holiday and its an old favourite and holds such a lot of stuff so it will be mendedHe will have stronger thread than I have and its well worth being repaired.
My car also need to go through the wash today and Mondays is 'Crinkly day' at our local carwash they do a smashing clean inside and out for £8.00 instead of £10.00 for OAP's, again worth every penny as I have a seven seater car and its far taller than I am:)
I shall knit ,hopefully another couple of stripdy balls for DGD's friends, and my eldest DD is coming to see me after work at 4,30 for a cuppa as
I haven't seen her since before my holiday I also have to sew DGS Mikey's badge on his blazer as he is back to school tomorrow, so I'll drop that off after the car wash. Lots of silly odd jobs but they will fill up today
Hope you have a nice cuppa Holly at the new tea shop
Nelski have a great day at the spa DD and I had a weekend spa in Oxfordshire a couple of years ago and it was lovely to be pampered and waited upon for a change
Life is returning to normality after my holidays and I do like a bit of routine
<<hugs>> to those in need of one , I know a few of our pals on here are having a tough time at the moment xx
Eldest DD has got a date for the scan at the hospital for the ganglion on her heel its the 14th Sept. which is good as she is getting a lot of pain with it
Youngest DD is back to work today and I am hoping she doesn't have to type much as her finger is still stiff and numb but hopefully the nerves will eventually knit together.
So onwards and upwards chums Have a good Monday, whatever you are doing ,enjoy it

Morning all,
Lovely to read all your news, thinking of all of you especially those who are feeling down.
I do apologise for my clumsy language skills but lately my fibromyalgia fog is making me sit here with a blank mind.
Yesterday I had a lovely day with my family for a pre birthday get together. Today, DH has the day off, we were going to go out so I could get a change of scene, but poor thing seemed to hurt his heel last night and was hobbling around, so it may be a day of lazing on the garden hammock with my crochet.
Apart from this, nothing else planned. I did get some garden vouchers so I would like to explore some vegetable growing. Have never done before, so I need to get my brain back into gear and try and find out what to do.
Take care all.

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one. Hope everything is ok with the TA's......
Yesterday was so hot.... I ended up putting the fan on in the kitchen cooking supper had shot the temperature up in there. I picked up the wrong chicken in Aldi, it was stuffed, co not so much chicken, oly enough left for a sandwich, so casserole pork out of the freezer for tonight.
Bed changed CA helped me put the duvet cover on, its an horrendous job on my own takes ages.....OH showered and dressed, he has been up the garden to do his weather spotting, checking the temperature overnight.
I want to start putting the binding on the quilt today, also have to do the label, I sew it on with the binding, so its not easy to remove.
Library van due today, hopefully OH will be able to get out to it, I have one book I am holding onto, its one of a series, the first book in the series is coming on the van today.
Plum crumble I made yesterday will be enough for tonights dessert after the casserole..0 -
Good morning one and all :hello: & thanks for starting us off Holly :T
The pub lunch yesterday was very tasty although the roasties weren’t a patch on the ones my DSis & I make :rotfl: but that is more than made up for by not having to cook or wash up & being able to have a few drinks (as the pub is within walking distance :rotfl:)
Not sure what I am doing today ............. 10 mins later - have emptied kitchen under sink shelves - will force me to clean :rotfl: but very tidy as did a major Kondo of products a while ago :rotfl:
My ‘To Do’ list is extremely long so I might :rotfl: just start crossing off a few things - after I have done them of course :rotfl:
Sending gentle (((hugs))) to one & all but especially to the poorlies & those caring for poorlies. There are more robust hugs available if required.
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible
From a lovely & warm East London

Good Morning people  - wow some of you are 'early risers' - think I was crawling back into bed to try to drop off again, as some of you were 'up and about'
.
It's lovely to have small insights into other people's lives - my own seems very boring at the moment in comparison. I'm recovering from right knee replacement, which is taking longer than most - still got a small dressing in place at the base of the scar which is really taking its time. It's REALLY slowed me down this time around - and I'm getting very impatient with myself and the situation and fed-up with hospital visits
.
I've had a lovely weekend (a bit church-centred) with a couple of 'shared meals' and lots of good company ......................... so now back to the 'routine of the regular week'.
Taken some frozen 'whoopsed cheese' out of freezer for making sandwiches over the next couple of days
We've eaten quite a lot of 'meat' over the past few days, so today's evening meal will be Beans and Poached Egg on Toast.
I've had a few 'no spend days' which has been brilliant, but now need a few bits from one or two shops, but I'll try my very hardest to make sure that they're done with a shopping list and try to 'stick to the list'.
Need to buy:
'Olbas Oil' - or cheap alternative
Fresh Milk
Replace the emergency Long-Life Milk that got opened
Tea bags for OH (though we've got loose leaf tea that could be used up)
Lettuce / tomatoes / cucumber / red onions / potatoes / baby potatoes
Fresh Eggs
Spread (Clover 500g for £1 in Mr T!)
Fresh fruit (whatever is on offer / whoopsied)
Hoping everybody has a good day and that those who need 'healing' or 'assistance' find what they need.0 -
Just sticking my head round the door to say I aiten't dead.
Just tired, stressed, and not got anything of interest to contribute. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all - bit of late call from me, my morning has been awful, at one point I was on the edge of a mini meltdown but drew myself back from it!
The stress point was work-related but it meant that everything spilled over, just take one weak spot for the whole damn to burst. Things are fine now...
I put a full load of bedding, towels, clothes etc in the washing machine, got it hung out and now almost everything is dry already. It's bright and blowy here so it was very cheery to see my not-so-smalls fluttering in the wind.
My stress resulted in me eating four delicious pieces of shortbread, one after the other. Not the best response I know.
Now, I have students to work with at 4pm for two hours, another set of reluctant ones. It'll be tense. :rotfl:
I hope that Mr&Mrs TA are doing fine. Snoozer, you deserve a down day, it's very difficult to maintain 'good' all the time. LameWolf, nice to see you popping in'.
:hello: to everyone else - hope you enjoy the rest of a happy Monday.0 -
Indeed Lamewolf we all have days when nowt much happens which in itself is a bonus I have had a catching up on things day and its been great I have to host the U3A coffee morning at Dobbies tomorrow so its back into normality again as I have also quiz night at the pub whchI coordinate with my trusty team :)But it means I get a night off from cooking as I get a small meal at the pub which is magic
Just waiting for eldest DD to arrive for a cuppa and a natter and catch up.Almost finished another blooming baby ball ,only another 39 to go:)
Weather was glorious today really warm and sunny and the longer it lasts the shorter the winter hopefully
Cheers chums
