Hi 🙂
I hope I've put this in the right place. My daughter is being considered for filming for a German TV campaign, in South Africa. It's all happened very fast, from the first email last Tuesday to finding out if she's got it tomorrow (we are on pins!)
We would be flying out 24th Sept so I am totally freaking out at what needs to be done beforehand. They gave me an info sheet and I've had a Google but I'm not confident I've got it all straight in my head. If anyone has travelled with a child to SA and could advise I'd be so grateful.
So, I know I'll have to get a full copy of her birth certificate, copies of mine and her dad's passport and permission letter from her dad, all 'authorised'. Does this have to be done at the embassy or just at a solicitor?
Do I actually have to travel to the embassy at all?
What about vaccinations? Most of the ones on the list look like what she had as standard from birth to pre-school age, how do I prove she's up to date?
I have so many questions, my head is in a spin! Thanks in advance if you can help ☺

You can get the documents certified at a solicitor's - no need to visit the embassy.
No vaccinations needed. And no proof needed. Presume you wouldn't be visiting the Kruger region which is malarial so all good to go health wise.0 -
Oh that's great news! Thanks. I was dreading the thought of having to get to London as well as everything else. It's Cape Town we'd be going. Fingers crossed now she gets it 😊0
