  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

Nice morning a bit of a breeze should dry the laundry. Hope its the same tomorrow, its sheet day.

Usual Sunday breakfast in bed, got OH to the bathroom and did the bits he could not reach, he managed quite well except for his socks......he is still using the stick for support when he walks. He seems to walk better at night for some reason...weird.

Yesterday when we were out, the chap who supplies the grass had a table of books out on the front. I picked up 3 and OH got one. I noticed a really nice cloth had been laid in a wheelbarrow with more books in and jokingly asked how much it was.........I was given it.....blue and white it goes very well in the kitchen with the blue check curtains. I have a feeling I am going to end up making a curtain for the door, I fancy one similar the the curtains, I thought I had a spare pair of curtains from the kitchen in Haddington, But cannot find them, I must have put them in a charity bag at some time.

Roast chicken for supper, veg prepped. Have taken some plums out for a crumble, will mix some ginger in with the topping.

Mrs TA hope you are coping better with the bags and getting some sleep. Please do try and get some help with Mr TA. I know how exhausting it can be looking after someone. The nurses at your Drs pricatice should be able to help you.
  • Morning lovelies !
We had a great time at DD's BBQ yesterday and there was so much food that everyone came home with a doggy bag :D. So tea is sorted :T
This morning I have stripped the bed, washed the bedding and hung it on the whirly. There is also another load in the WM and I did remember to put in the powder and softener this time ! It's a bit worrying that I'm having more and more bouts of forgetfulness :o
The oven is on too as I am cooking a small chicken to take with us tomorrow, that will be enough for 2 days, then I can pop to the new Al*i that we found :j.
Today's jobs include hoovering and dusting the bedroom and living room, giving the bathroom a going over, a bit of ironing, remaking the bed and rechecking the 'vanning list ( again :rotfl:). After tea I shall clean out the fridge, put the DW on and wipe down the kitchen. That lot should keep me occupied and out of trouble for most of the day.
Holly enjoy you day with your DB and DSisIL.
Nelski stop squeezing Simon ! :rotfl:.
Snoozer at least now you know what you are dealing with. I hope your DH can get the correct treatment and make a complete recovery.
TA hope you and MrTA are coping better, sending healing vibes and copious hugs to you both xx
MrsSD thanks for letting me know that I haven't lost all my marbles.... yet :rotfl::A.

Righty ho the WM has finished so I must hang the washing out and make a start on the bedroom. I keep telling myself that I will appreciate all this hard work when I return from holiday to a lovely clean house ! Unfortunately it will probably look like a bomb has hit it within 10 mins of being back .
Take care and stay safe everyone.
Hugs to all and I will be back in 2 weeks.

    love nan xx

Gers & nmlc hope you enjoy your Sunday :)

JackieO, happy knitting & I hope you enjoy your time with your family :)

Camelot, hope the journey isn’t too fraught & I hope you enjoy your family time :)

dp1, belated Birthday greetings :bdaycake: & I hope you are spoiled today :D

redruby, hope the flooring order arrives at a time convenient to you. Whenever we do any jobs around the house we always overestimate & end up with los - although usually DH finds a use for whatever it is :D I hope you enjoy your puppy walk :D

Csarina, there is no possibility of ‘getting’ if you don’t ask so well done on the tablecloth :T

nannywindow, I hope you have a lovely holiday :D - you will need it after all that work :rotfl: Glad you enjoyed the BBQ & free food is always a bonus :D

(((Gentle Hugs))) to all the poorlies & those caring for poorlies & of course (((hugs))) to those who want or need them :)

Lazy day today - last load in the wm - cuddly toys + a skirt & top - will peg out & leave while we go out for a late lunch. Will only be keeping 2 of the 5/6 toys & the rest will go to cs along with the skirt & top.

All three of us are bathing today so as DSis is in the bath I may run the hoover round downstairs :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday & enjoys the sunshine (if you have it :o)
