Can you BT an overdraft onto a card ?

My current account overdraft interest rate is 19.3%, I have a 0% BT offer for 6mths on one of my cards. Is it possible to balance transfer overdraft debts onto a card ?

I think you need an Egg Money credit card

transfer balance from overdfraft into Egg Money then use your 0% balance transfer card to transfer balance from Egg Money (into your 0% card)

I'm hoping this can be done as I intend to do the above.

If your credit card company issues credit card cheques you can also write out a cheque to yourself and the overdraft debt will appear on your credit card.

No. Barclaycard does not have this capability.

A card issued by MBNA (e.g. Alliance & Leicester, MBNA, Virgin) or the Post Office card, will allow you to transfer an overdraft, in other words, transfer cash to your current account.

You can also use Egg Money in conjunction with a balance transfer card, as suggested in #2.

Alternatively, Mint periodically issues credit card cheques, which can be paid directly into your current account
