Help Again! What's the best way to touch up new scratched radiators?

Hi,
First, thanks to everyone for taking the time to read and respond to my previous thread about radiators. Now for another one! Just wondering if anyone might know the best way to touch up any nicks or scratches on new, white radiators?
Same radiators!? I see on another forum elsewhere, someone recommended Plasticote (apparently very expensive) or Humbrol enamel paint....
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of using these or any other products. Any advice, again, gladly accepted!

I used some stuff my wife had bought to touch up chips on a white enamel draining board. It worked well.0

The knack is using the smallest brush you can find and cut it back so its quite stiff
If you use brush with long bristle its so much harder to get a good finish (imagine using one of those car touch things but cutting brush in half). If its a deep scratch build it up in a couple of layers and have a tissue slightly dampened with white spirit/paint cleaner and wipe lightly over so just taking excess off the edges0 -
Would you use Plasticote or would the likes of Humbro enamel paint be better? Many thanks.0

I used an enamel paint........and if you've got a cloth dampened with paint cleaner/white spirit handy you can keep wiping it all off and start again if you mess it up0 -
I would just lightly sand the whole radiator and repaint it with radiator paint.
You will need to be very good to just touch up the scratch, it's hard to get a colour match that won't stand out like a sore thumb so repainting the whole lot is the best option, for me anyway.0 -
Thanks Bris, but sanding and repainting the radiator is simply not an option for me. Don't have the time, and these are only minor scratches, so feel repainting the entire radiator would be too time consuming.
Also, the entire house has these brand new radiators, so if I did that, I would feel compelled to paint every other radiator to ensure a uniform finish throughout the house....
I would have hoped to just touch up these minor scratches, but understand your concern that it might be obvious if not completed correctly. Would still prefer that route though..
They are new Myson Premier radiators in a 'white gloss finish'.0
