Credit after IVA settled

We hace recently had a full and final offer accepted to end our IVA after just under 5 years. I know that the IVA stays on our file until 6 years after starting but once we have the completion certificate, is there any way we can improve our credit score and/or get credit in that last year?

A sub prime credit card would be the place to start. Make sure you clear it in full.

Focus on building good history and always ignore your credit score.

A good history means applying for a sub-prime card and managing the credit well.


You do this by spending on your card for things within your monthly budget.
Then pay the full balance after the statement is received and before the due date
