New boiler - where to start?

Hi all,
Thinking about replacing the ageing Range Powermax that's been in our house since it was built in 2002... it's getting hard to find people willing to service it, and now it's losing pressure every now and then!
Would like to treat ourselves to a new one but the choice is just bewildering
There's just 2 of us in the house, it's got 2 bathrooms but we only use the shower in one of them. The showers are not electric.
Any suggestions where to begin...?
Thanks!

A few quote-builder type things [eg boxt.co.uk, but they only do Worcester] will ask you a series of questions to determine what capacity boiler you need [eg number of rooms, house age, number of bathrooms] so that would be a good start.
Bear in mind it may not be the boiler itself losing pressure, it could be a leak elsewhere in the system, although a fairly common fault is a stuck-open pressure regulator valve.
You will be asked what kind of system [combi, system boiler, ...] you have now, and what kind of system you would like at the end of it.0
