in Credit cards
Ok thanks for looking in,i have a very account with about 1800 on so each month paying interest on it and each month is mostly paid interest when i make a payment.
Now ive never missed a payment,i had really bad credit years ago so i am looking for advice on a a 0% credit card i can try and apply for so i can pay off my very account completely and just pay the credit card instead.
Now my intention is to carry on paying the same amount i pay very each month to the credit card, this way i will have 0% so every payment i make will be 100% of what i owe.
Can anyone offer advice which card will be best for this plz,if i can pay very off it will be a massive weight lifted as i can get that debt paid quicker this way

It depends on what you can get, which will in turn depend on your credit history. Try an eligibility checker.
Do Very accept card payments for the accounts? If not, you'll need a money transfer option.0 -
I think you need a money transfer card (at 0%) so that you can transfer the money from the card into your current account and then make the payment by faster payment.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Things may have changed, but I'm pretty sure you can pay them using a credit card, as a purchase, so OP would need a credit card offering 0% on purchases, ideally.0 -

I'm right, you can pay them with a credit card, so 0% purchases card is the best bet
Bold is added by me:My Account
Making a payment to your Very Account is quick and easy, plus it’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Log into My Account and choose ‘Make a Payment’.
You can pay by both credit and debit cards and your payment will show on your Very Account after 1 day. We’ll email you when it does.

I don't know which card is good for you. But I myself did this and it backfired on me when the 0% period ended and I hadn't cleared the balance. If you're serious about it then do your best to pay it off before the 0% period ends. I hope you find what you're looking for0

This site said Sainsbury’s for me,I applied and got excepted for one but I declined it as it was a £1000 limit which defeats the object.
I’m now worried in case this effects my credit score0 -
You don't have a credit score.
The search will show on your credit files. It would have been better to accept and use the limit offered.

Ok went back to Sainsbury’s and excepted the card for 1k I then did Tesco 28 months 0% but only gave me a limit of 600.So them 2 cards cover me to pay very,So each month I will pay more of the Sainsbury’s one to get that cleared fast as I have 28 months on the Tesco one.
Once I’ve paid very back I will cut the cards up so they can’t be used again and will close my very account0 -

Great work, small limits yes, but 0% on the majority is better than paying interest on the entire amount. Re the remainder, make minimum payments (+£1, to avoid the minimum payment marker on your credit file) on the two new cards, and focus on paying off the remainder of the Very balance.
The rest of your plan is great, focus on the one with the shorter 0%, providing you can clear it within the 0% period.0
