Hello All,
We completed on a new house yesterday and typical male (priorities and all that) I had a look at the TV Aerials as the last people had Sky TV.
Only thing is, I thought the aerials were the screw in type (this property has a dish) but as far as I can see, the aerial looks like a normal co-ax connection that you push in.
Will I need to convert the connection in order to us the dish?

Aerial sockets tend to be push in, satellite (and Virgin) use screw in connectors, you can get small converters as the cable is the same (not Virgins obviously).
You can't get an aerial (Freeview) signal through a satellite dish if that's your question (and vice versa).0 -
Thanks Colin, I thought that might be the case, I think the previous owners did have Sky but they got fed up of them so they switched to BT which would make sense as to why the aerial was changed back to co-ax I guess0
