Santander cheque clearing time?

After some advice here folks. Its been that long since I paid in a cheque I'm not sure.
Both the Mrs and I received 2 cheques last Friday for £4k, both paid in on Friday, I am with Santander, her Halifax, Hers cleared yesterday mine still isn't cleared. Are Santander slow or what?

I phoned Santander. Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I doubt the 4 part of the 2 4 6 rule doesn’t apply to them.0

Paid in on a Friday - Interest begins on Saturday - Withdrawal allowed on Thursday - Clear the following Tuesday0
