Help needed fitting Yale cylinder lock

Hi, anyone help, I’m trying to fit a Yale cylinder Euro lock but it has those dimples on the side so the cylinder won’t slide in, I’ve read the door handle needs to be removed from the outside, I’ve done this but can’t see how that helps as the shape of the space is the same , so the cylinder still won’t Fit?

For euro locks you do not need to remove the handle, just remove the screw on the side that is sometime covered by a face plate, turn the key so the rotating piece is inside the lock body and insert or remove
Look at the video bur I have replaced many euro locks and never had to loosen or remove a handle
but the rest of the vid looks fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZMORGKkbxU0 -
The Yale locks have a pimple (rather than a dimple!) to stop the lock passing straight through.
Take the handles off, make sure the internal/external are the right way round, align the cam, and insert the lock from the OUTSIDE.
If it catches on the UPVC, you might need to give it a GENTLE tap with a hammer.

Thanks for the replies but I have tried the above and no way will the cylinder fit, there is a metal surround that the cylinder fits into and this is exactly the same shape as the cylinder so the pimples will not pass through it, I’ve tried from the front and back, even took the whole locking system off...ordered a cylinder without the pimplies now.0
