We are looking at getting 3 x 3.5 metre conservatory/garden room. Anglian have quoted £19k but say can reduce to about £16k if have building work done by another builder. We’ve had some other local companies who were slightly less but we weren’t very impressed. Is this reasonable and how much can you haggle with them as salesman came from the approach that this was the best offer and don’t do deals?
Thanks for any advice

We're in Yorkshire and had a 4.5m x 3m conservatory put on the back of our semi about 6 years ago for £14k. The company who did it were the 'premier' company in the area, so decent to deal with. I don't think we haggled as we had another quote a bit cheaper but the spec was a bit better and we had more confidence with the people we used.
I'f you're going for coloured frames or aluminium or including lots of openers / bifolds and if you're having a glass roof instead of a carbonate one, then £19k sounds one the strong side, but not exhorbitant.0
