Nice surprise in the post:
£88.56 cheque from water company, saying I’m in credit since getting a water meter about 3 weeks ago. My bill will go down now as there’s only going to be me so a big saving over the year.
£1.50 EBay sale.

Unexpected total so far: £90.16!
I still have loads of things to put on eBay so hoping to get that done this week.0 -

Well done:T. Always nice to get something back from the utility companies:j. I'm sure you'll find you make big savings now your water usage is metered. We did
I submitted my electricity meter reading online to Scottish Power on Saturday only to be told they are putting my monthly DD up by £9 a month from October:eek:. That's despite having hardly any electric appliances on all summer. I think it was because I submitted the reading a couple of days before the current DD was due out and they hadn't taken account of it:mad:. Will wait until it's been credited to my account online and then resubmit the reading. No intention of paying the extra amount as I never end up in deficit over the year anyway and I can't see why this year should be any different.0 -

Hi!
First timer here - i'd love to join in, trying to be a bit more frugal as I am a cash fritterer usually!
Can you put me down for £10 a day please?
Cheers, and hello all!!!0 -
I've just cashed out £2.20 from Quidco - all daily clicks. I complained to both Sainsbury's and Mitchum about a faulty spry deodorant I bought. Sainsbury's have credited me with £5 worth of Nectar points and Revlon who own Mitchum have sent me a voucher for £3.50. So I've had £8.50 back for a deodorant which I paid £2 for (special offer).
So total so far is 10.70.0 -
Refund from electricity account £80 and hfx reward £3 for me today.
Have a good day everyone.

I'd recommend that anyone who does Prolific studies check their accounts regularly for available ones. After 3 yesterday I had 4 more early this morning, all really short ones. Admittedly the pay wasn't enough to make me rich but totalled about £7.90 over the 2 days for a lot less than an hour's work overall. Worth doing of you are online anyway as with Prolific once a study is started you don't get screened out:j0
