Access to bank account

Hello everyone,
when I have an issue with some debt collector will they get access to my bank account in some way?
This question might be a bit strange for you but I must let you know I live in Greece and not much skilled with UK laws.
Can any debt collecting firm obtain an attachment order in court and have the bank account blocked or pledged?
If yes, how long will take such a procedure?

If it's a UK bank account, then if your creditor has a CCJ against you then yes they can apply for an attachment order against your bank account.

If this a Greek debt collector I'm not sure we are able to help much on this forum. If it a UK debt collector, chasing you for a UK debt then the debt can be enforced in various ways, such as those outlined above.

Not sure how long it would take for it to happen, but it will probably happen sooner rather than later.
