EDF are causing me grief

I cancelled my switch to them within the first 3 days and they sent me confirm e-mail to say the switch had been cancelled.
My current energy provider have told me EFD energy keep trying to take over my gas, my gas readings have vanished from my account with current provider so does this mean EDF have taken over the gas even tho they wrote to me in an e-mail to say my switch had been cancelled which was within my 14 days change of mind terms.

So you applied to swoitch to EDF
You cancelled your switch and EDF confirmed that cancellation.
Now you have an issue with your existing supplier because they have removed your gas account from your gas account from your online portal?
And this is down to EDF you believe?
You also ask if EDF have taken over your gas supply, despite you saying you cancelled the swiotch with them and they have confirmed your cancellation.
You make no mention of EDF contacting you to confirm they are taking over your or indeed asking for a meter reading. Why would they? You cancelled thed switch and they confirmed your cancellation.
I suggest you cantact your existing supplier, Octopus Energy, regarding your grief.0 -
Contact your current supplier, who are giving you grief. EDF have confirmed they've cancelled the switch in the email so you are not their customer. Contact your current supplier, though they will just continue to bill you, your gas supply won't get cut!0
