Hi,
I moved into a new flat yesterday, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to work the hot water. Both switches in the cupboard are turned on, I've put the boost dial on 3 times, the switch is set to timed, and yet I still have no hot water.
Just want a bath

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? How do I make it work before I go insane?
The shower has hot water, just can't make any of the hot taps work

Sounds like fuse/breaker blown. Check consumer unit.0

Could be fuse check reset replace as needed could be timer could be element most likely as There designed for E7 overnight, with additional boost in the day if needed. Not to be on during day specifically day. You may need to keep setting boost for day heat, Shower could electricso nothing to do with above hence the hot water
Also check that its not wired in such a way that it only comes on at the set times for economy 7
