Finally have Access to my TSB Account!

Thankfully with the help of the Ombudsman's office I now have access to my account for the first time since the meltdown. TSB cheekily advised the Ombudsman that I had not registered for online banking before they conceded there was a technical issue with my account that could only be resolved on TSB's side. The Ombudsman's office stated they will be deciding on a suitable level of compensation but I assume this will be in the region of £50.

I didn't ask for anything either I just advised that being frozen out of my funds (£3000) for around four months was causing me severe problems.
  • Time to transfer the account away then :)

Yes it's been a poor experience and to be honest whilst I asked for nothing £50 doesn't really soften the pain from TSB.
  • What I was saying was that you should be entitled to more than what I was given. Good luck with it .

The Ombudsman's office did say it was difficult to quantify a financial amount for having no access to my money for four months but did advise that TSB's response didn't reflect well on them. He suggested that a nominal amount of £50 would be around the mark.

Personally, I think TSB are still months away from 'normality'.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

Some of their website features are down and the 5% monthly interest is not being paid to everyone who is eligible.
