I'm open to all options if it's going to aid in getting the attention of people who aren't paying attention to what's going on on the road. Recently had a few near misses and on the 2 occasions that I used the horn as a preventative measure once I don't think the guy in the car could hear it over the stereo and the second time I'm fairly sure the beep didn't do justice to the level of stupidity of the driver who turned across in front of me.

I joke about a fire engine horn but it does need to be something people pay attention to.

On more than one occasion I have sat behind someone who was driving slowly and in my way and who were completely oblivious to the big red lorry sat behind them with blue lights, headlights, two tones and vehicle horn beeping merrily.

To be honest, I'm surprised a really loud horn would be needed, since you'd think people would see something that large and red coming, especially at that pace.
