Hi.
New on here today.
I had a mortgage from about 1995 until 2003 which was then paid off fully. I also had a credit card from 1990 until 2002 and maybe a car loan at some stage during this time. Sadly, I have no records concerning the above and can’t actually remember who they were with!!
Do you think a claim is worth making and how can I find out the details I need?
Any advice gratefully received.

Your credit files will show the 6 years. Everything else is in your memory or filing cabinet.
It's highly unlikely that lenders will have retained any data from that far back. Also, as you are making a complaint and not a claim, remember that you will need to put your mis sell reasons.0 -
Car loan you can forget as car dealers were not regulated until January 2005. So, sales earlier than that date are pre-regulation for them.
Most mortgages in the UK are bought via advisers, brokers, estate agents. They were not regulated until January 2005. So, if you used one of them you can forget that. Only if you bought via the lender would it be considered.
Plevin will apply to none of these either as they all predate the S140a amendment which Plevin relies on.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
