just had an email from ayton moon which is a cosmetic research co, they will only let you take part if you give them your store card number not that ive got any anyway,this sounds a bit dodgy to me anyone know if they are up to no good.

Yeah I got an email off them too. It depends on what cosmetics you said you buy in your profile and where you buy them from. They basically want proof that you do shop at Boots. Personally I think it's a load of tripe- only way to prove you shop anywhere is by getting a proof of purchase, receipt etc. An Advantage Card isn't really proof of purchase as you don't have to have one. But if you want to do the trials those are the hoops we have to jump through.

I haven't got a problem with giving them my advantage card number, I can't see any risk in this or am I being thick? Obviously I wouldn't give them my credit card details.

I just got my second lot of stuff to test from them today-lets just say that when this particular product hits the shops I'll be buying.

I've been with them for a long time.
In the last 22 days I've managed to get accepted for 11 trials ( These include hubby and daughters)
The times I receive the invitations vary a lot, like today they were from 11.am onwards I've just received 2 invites in the last half hour.
It is worth logging in and then checking the messages on the home page as they sometimes let you know when they are going to be sending out invitations.
Also definitely worth adding family members and regularly updating your profiles too.
