Cat Flea Problem

Please can someone help.
I was treating my cats with RSPCA spot on which didnt seem to work as i was still finding fleas on 1 of my cats. I have treated both cats and dog with frontline plus, sprayed everywhere with indorex and hot washed everything i can. I have been hoovering everday since treatment but not pulling everything out everyday to hoover under/behind stuff. 4 days on and i have found 1 flea on each cat.
My son and i werent being bitten or saw any fleas other than on cats but thought it best to treat the house just in case there were any lurking in carpets etc.
Should i still be seeing fleas and should i re-treat the house again. I constantly feel like i am crawling with the thought i have beasties in my house.
Thank you in advance.

If you cats go outside they could be picking up fleas there.
Frontline kills fleas after they bite and ingest the poison so you will see fleas until they die.
Do not use any flea treatment more often than advised on the packaging.
There are reports that Frontline no longer works in some areas. Check with your vet who can recommend another treatment.0 -

Hi, thank you for the advice it is very much appreciated.
Both cats are house cats and it is the vet in my area that gave me the frontline plus. I have read that advantage is a good alternative to frontline so will invest in this for their next treatment.
Day 5 after treatment and have combed both cats, no sign of live fleas or droppings. Fingers crossed i have managed to get on top it quick enough.0 -
Frontline (normal and plus versions) both stopped working years ago for my cats and dog. Advantage seems to be the most effective non-prescription option that still works, but I have to combine with a couple of extensive goes with the Indorex and lots of hoovering & cleaning for it to sort the issue out.0

Whatever you do, do not buy Bob Martin flea treatments or collars! They have literally killed animals and I can't believe they are still sold.
Luckily for me frontline still works, but you could definitely try Advantage0
