Halesowen, as a place to live?

So our grandson has just got his first job but it is in Halesowen, B63.
We are helping him find a small flat to rent. What are the good areas and what should he avoid?

I'm not sure how many responses you'll get on here, but I live just around the corner in Bearwood so thought I might be able to help. The areas in Bearwood by warley woods and lightwoods park are nice and a short bus ride from Halesowen.
The area around Leasowes park is quite nice and the high Street too, it would then be easy to get into brum too if he wanted to. I'm not too sure about areas to avoid, sorry
Not the most detailed response but better than nothing I hope! I know Halesowen is becoming quite popular as not too far from the city and more affordable, probably a good time to have a look there before prices rise.0
