I recently topped up my circuit laundry account with £5 of credit, having used some of the money I would like the company to reimburse the remaining £4.20 however they have refused. They said it is their policy to only reimburse if its more than £5 and it has a £3 administration charge.
This to me does not sound right does anybody have any similar experiences?

What do the T&Cs say
Actually, I just looked at the FAQsTo receive a refund of part-used top-up credit, please send your Circuit laundry top-up card along with a copy of the original top-up code receipt to:
Victoria Court
Halifax Road, Ripponden
West Yorkshire
HX6 4AJ.
No refund will be given on card balances of less than £5.00. Refunds will incur an administration charge of £3.00 that will be deducted directly from the refund value. Refunds will be made using the payment method used for purchase. Refunds will not be processed for any free credit.
So it's there in black and white, why do you think that you are due a refund?0 -

Its stated multiple times on their terms.
I appreciate money is money, but surely you will have more laundry to do. Is £5 the minimum top up? Can you not sell it to another student for £4?0 -
You bought credits for a service - you're not automatically entitled to a refund just because you want one.0

Topup enough to exceed the £5 limit and you will get a refund minus the £3 fee.
Does not sound right? You agreed to the terms when you topped up and started using it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
