Fraudulent credit applications

Options
Hi there,

I've recently (Friday) been the victim of credit card fraud - which has been thankfully caught by the card company. I thought that was all there was to it until I got a pin number through for a credit card I didn't order. I rang that company and they will get back to me once their fraud department opens tomorrow. I've also reported this to the actionfraud people and have reference numbers etc...

I've just checked my credit file and found a number of applications have been made on my behalf that were not made by me. A lot of these were to 'New Day' cards who I understand provide store cards and the like. The problem is that I cant find a number for their fraud department and I don't really want to call all of their customer companies just to find out if I've been issued a credit card fraudulently and without my knowledge.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

If the searches carried out were not authorized, the lenders must remove them. Some will require evidence, so forward them the Action Fraud report and preferably the outcome (when it comes in) to validate it further.
