No credit info on ClearScore

Hi there,

Posting on behalf of my partner. We have a joint mortgage together and two joint current accounts. Both the mortgage and current accounts appear on my credit file on ClearScore, however for some reason they aren't on his. In fact, all his credit information is missing apart from his phone contract with EE. We have both registered on the electoral roll at our current address so my address is correct on ClearScore, but again his is not, it has his old address. We updated the address with our bank late last year after buying our house. Up until last month, a loan that he has for his car did appear on ClearScore under his long term debt total. This month for some reason it is no longer there. It specifically says "Your long term debt total is down *£amount of loan* from last month." but he hasn't finished paying this off or anything so I'm confused as to why it just wouldn't be there anymore?

Can anyone shed some light on why nearly all his credit doesn't appear to be on his file? Right now it looks like he has a somewhat low credit rating due to not having had much credit, but this isn't the case as he has had credit in the past which has been paid off and he does currently have a mortgage, the bank loan for his car, and he is registered on the electoral roll.

If it was just a case of one thing missing from his file then I would understand that it's perhaps just a fault of the bank not updating the credit reference agencies - but this is pretty much everything. Plus the fact that our joint accounts and mortgage are on my file but not his?

Thank you to anyone that can help shed some light. :)

Does your Statutory Report from Equifax (parent company of ClearScore) report the same credit history?

Agree with the above, and if it is still missing something, contact Equifax and provide them missing account information and they will link them to your file
  • Thanks so much for your replies - we've finally got round looking up the report from Equifax. Luckily all my partner's credit information is there - mortgage, current accounts, loan, etc - and the fact he's registered on the electoral roll.

Any idea why it's just not on ClearScore? Should we get in touch to have them correct this?
  • I have exactly the same problem so have notified clearscore after checking my Equifax report....will see if they put it right.

    Hi alvorada

It's hard to say why the information is showing on your partner's Equifax report but not ClearScore as they are part of the same company. It's best to get in contact with them to query it and hopefully they can resolve the matter for your partner.

It should not cause too many issues in the meantime as creditors will use information from the credit reference agency (in this case Equifax) rather than the associated website (ClearScore).

    Best wishes
