Best small business for beginners

I would love to start my own business early next year but I'm still not sure what small business would fit for a newbie like me. This will be my first business venture and if this will work, I will be confident to leave my regular job. Someone suggested food franchising to me but I'm still open to new suggestions.

Have a look at franchises, may give you some ideas even if you decide to go it alone rather than buy a franchise.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080

If you want to try and run your own business it is important to know where your strengths lie. Marketing/Sales/Making stuff. You could always try and run a sideline next to your work now to see how you get on. I would also say - if you go the selling route - to believe in your product and to enjoy it.
I run a small card business (the Old Phoenix trading - now set up as Flamingo Paperie) and setting up in business with them costs as little as £45 to get started. https://www.flamingopaperie.co.uk
I am sure more people will come along with recommendations for something they enjoy.0
