I have an old conventional system with hot water tank in the airing cupboard.
Installed in 1991 we have been here since 2002.
I can’t image it’s ever been flushed. I’m paying £40 a month for insurance on it with the efficiency at about 50%.
Looking for a new one and this thread has me thinking what type to get.
On an aside I went though the Worcester Bosch website to find a company that can do it on finance.
The only respondents though have come back with quotes and the choice was you can use a credit card.
So i’m looking for a company who can install on finance. EON can but cost was £800 more than the next nearest.
I’m sure though someone said because we have a power shower with pump in the loft we can’t get rid of the cylinder
