Parking charge from parking eye - received over a month after alleged parking

Hi,
I’ve had a look in the threads but i can’t seem to find anything that helps me.
I’ve received a parking charge from parking eye. However, the charge has gone straight up to £100 from £60. There’s no letter before that bit. This means I’ve not had the opportunity to even appeal it. Has anyone had this before or know what I should do?
Many thanks for any help in advance.

Is this a 'Reminder' letter (I recognise you say you haven't had anything previous from them)? How is the letter headed?
Is the vehicle a company, hire or lease one?
Was the parking incident (or are you) based in Scotland?
What kind of parking facility was this - retail park, independent store (Aldi, Asda or similar), hotel, hospital, port .......?
In any event, you need to read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1
In addition - and this might be vitally important for you - do a forum search on 'Golden Ticket'.HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:
Use the Forum Jump button (one near the top and one near the bottom of this page) to get back to the forum thread list. Just above the threads, on the right, is a heading along a line, next to forum tools, called 'Search this Forum'. Put your key word(s) in and change the default search from 'Show Threads' to 'Show Posts'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No delay, no adding words or removing stuff, no saying who was driving! - just do it.
As Umkomaas asked, is this PCN headed 'reminder'?
If not, then you have what we call a 'Golden Ticket' and need to read the section about that in post #3 of the NEWBIES sticky.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No reminder or any header for that matter. First paragraph says We are writing to inform you that the requirements of schedule 4 of the protection of freedoms Act in respect of keeper liability have now been satisfied...
I've also since received a letter before county court claims so I'm starting to panic a little now. I didn't know anything about this charge.
It's my vehicle and it was in the UK. It was in a stadium.
Any advice please? Course I will check out the newbies thread now though.0 -
You must email PE and tell them you never got a PCN at all:
enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk
ask them to send you a PCN so you can appeal and/or complain to the venue as you know nothing about the allegation and need a chance to appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent the letter you suggested and yesterday received a letter back from Popla with an appeals form. On the appeals form there’s no option for my situation. I’m not sure what I should be doing now.0 -

Thank you I’ll do this. As above popla have just sent me their appeals form which doesn’t have an option for my situation on it.0 -
Isn't there an 'other' option?
If not, please tell us exactly what your choices are.0
