I'm usually out at uni or Guiding til 10 at night
With your guiding contacts .... is there any mileage in babysitting?
With babysitting you get your own space AND can still do your Uni studying.

You'd be in a good position to spread the word that you're available - even if being available was only on peculiar nights (e.g. never Fri/Sat, only ever a Mon/Tue).

I've no idea how much babysitting pays, but with a bf 200 miles away and Uni study to be done, it's certainly better, say, to pick up £10/week doing a 4-5 hour stint once a week than to sit at home and study without earning.

Worth a shot. I have Wednesday and Thursday nights to do studying. I'll knock up a quick poster and put it up. Summer holidays are better, i'll have 5 nights a week free!!!!!! ...more potential too with the kids off and parents in need of a break.
  • I spoke to Choice today about my account and they have now agree'd to cancel those items from my balance for this time only as an 'act of good will'. I then told them that I shall be paying my balance off in full at the end of the month and then will be closing my account!

    Good News!

...we also got our payrise through so that shall be backdated and received in this months pay. :D woo!
